NotaryOT confirms each booking by email — the time, the notary and the itemized price — and if you're unavailable, the signer is matched with another commissioned notary. The requests that name you show on your dashboard.

If a source goes quiet
If a company that has been sending you work goes silent for 14 days, we email you. We only ever mention companies that have actually sent you something.

Forwarded emails are encrypted before they're stored and deleted 30 days after the job closes. No other notary — and no signing company — can see your jobs.

Sign in with a one-time email code, then prove the commission is yours.

Where your data comes from
We publish what the state publishes. Nothing else.
Most directories treat notaries as the product. We built ours the other way: the public record is the starting point, and you control everything beyond it.
- RecordOnly official fields. Unclaimed pages show your name, commission number, city, county, and status — exactly as your Secretary of State publishes them, with the source and the date we last read its file printed on the page.
- PrivateNever your street address. Never your email. Not on unclaimed pages, not on claimed ones, not in the page source. Claiming doesn't expose more about you — it puts you in charge of what's shown.
- HonestNo invented reputation. No imported star ratings, no fake “availability,” no activity counters.

Is this actually free?
Yes. Claiming your profile, keeping it, and being requested by name are free. Your presence in the directory never depends on paying us.
Where did you get my information?
From your state's official notary roster, a public record published by the Secretary of State. Each page names its source and the date we last read it, and we re-sync on each state's own publication cadence, so status and expiration follow the state's own file.
What happens if my commission lapses or renews?
Your page reflects your real status from the state roster. A lapsed commission pauses booking and shows honest status — your photos, services, and content stay saved. When the state shows you active again, everything comes back.

Can someone else claim my profile?
Claims are verified against the state record itself — not self-attestation. Failed attempts are rate-limited and locked out, and a commission can only ever have one verified owner. If you believe your record was claimed improperly, contact us: the claim is locked while we review it, and the profile goes to its rightful holder.
